7,000+ Publishing
Clarissa Cummings

7,000+ Publishing is a social entrepreneurial endeavor that works on a global level to promote prose as an art form and use new technology to publish radical writing from underrepresented communities. It is an innovative concept because it seeks to stretch the barometers of publishing and prove that prose can fuel socio-political engagement and exist as a viable economic market.  This is why 7,000+ acts as an organization but operates as a company.  It will serve as a source for archival and academic research and through creative public programs address the issue of censored and/or subjugated voices in the global community.  But even more innovative is its re-imagining of prose as a commodity produced by a skill that, like farming and engineering, can stimulate wealth and innovation in the global world.
