To transition the climate movement away from activism and towards entrepreneurship through active support, advisement and technology.

As a result of the climate treaty agreement reached in Paris, the shift from large scale activism to entrepreneurship has begun. However, many people don’t have the time to do the legal and dilatory work necessary to start a business. Advocatus will support potential entrepreneurs in the process of establishing a green business. We will use technology to educate people and certify them as ‘associates’ within the company. We will work with them to identify potential sustainability projects to pursue in their communities. We will help them build a board of advisers and legally formalize their company. We will connect them with students in the environmental field to assist them locally. We will help them find venture capital funding sources for their projects. In return for the services Advocatus will provide, we ask for a small stake in their company that will incentive both parties to strive for continued success.
