The North School Studio School House project will be an integrated co-working and maker space that will become a tech incubator based in rural Callicoon, NY.

Our project is an integrated maker & co-working space that will reside in a 16,000 sq. ft. school house that was originally built in 1908. The School House is an iconic structure in the small and vibrant town of Callicoon, NY, which has a large demand for new technology.

In January of 2015, North School Studio created a 3 day workshop devoted to 3D printing and other transformative technologies. Our goal was to introduce 3D printing to the community through hands-on demonstrations and collaborative brainstorming. We were successful in attracting over 100 local citizens, including government officials and business owners, who are excited about how this kind of technology can influence the local economy and excite young people.

Now we want to implement this project on a larger, more permanent scale.
